Our mission is to empower and advance informal economy actors across Namibia by advocating for their meaningful inclusion and active participation in economic planning, public policy, and legislative processes that directly impact their livelihoods.
We strive to ensure that street vendors, market traders, roadside sellers, mobile traders, hawkers, cross-border traders, informal SMEs, home-based entrepreneurs, casual workers, domestic workers, and waste pickers are recognized as key contributors to Namibia’s social and economic development.
Through research, advocacy, capacity building, and strategic partnerships, VISET Namibia works to transform the informal economy from survival-based enterprises into sustainable, growth-oriented businesses. Our ultimate goal is to promote inclusive governance, equitable development, and dignified livelihoods for all informal workers across the country.

We provide resources and support to uplift local communities, fostering growth and resilience.

Our educational initiatives aim to equip individuals with knowledge and skills for a better future.

We advocate for sustainable practices that protect our natural resources for generations to come.
